The historical figure I have chosen to write about is Thomas Jonathan stymy capital of Mississippi. I Chose Stonewall capital of Mississippi because he seemed like an evoke figure. Plus, I want to deepen my knowledge about the complaisantized War and Stonewall is one of the better and more evoke generals.
Stonewall Jackson was a colleague general during the American Civil War. Jackson is one of the most known world-wides from the fight and is regarded by many as the second best Confederate general besides Robert E. Lee. Jackson earned his name during the civil war at the battle of Manassas (first Bull Run) on July 21, 1861. General Barnard E. Bee yelled, There is Jackson standing like a gem wall! this proved Jacksons bravery, earning him the name Stonewall Jackson. In 1842, Jackson left his hometown of Pennsylvania to attend the United States Military academy at West Point. After graduation, Jackson served two geezerhood in the Mexican War before taking a teaching position at Virginia Military Institute in 1851. In 1861, Jackson led his troops into the First betrothal of Bull Run.

Jackson distinguished himself in the Valley streak of early 1862, the Battle of second Manassas (Bull Run II) in high-flown 1862, and the Battle of Fredericksburg in December 1862. Jackson was a fighter for the south and was loved and respected by his soldiers. On whitethorn 2, 1863, at the Battle of Chancellorsville, Confederate soldiers accidentally fired on Jackson and his men. Jackson was shot and his left arm later on amputated. Jackson died of pneumonia several days later on may 10 at Guineys Station, Virginia. His body was carried to Richmond and then to Lexington where Jackson is buried. Many Historians believe that the Confederates never recovered from the loss of Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee said that Jackson was irreplaceable.
